FAQ
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, businesses that embrace technology thrive, while those that resist risk being left behind.
Physical Difficulty Level:
Low to Moderate. While the Eastern Province is largely flat coastal terrain, you should be comfortable walking 2ΓÇô3 kilometers on varied surfaces. This includes the steady uphill stroll through Fort Frederick to reach Koneswaram Temple.
Terrain & Access:
Capturing the best angles at the Sampur Lighthouse or the Batticaloa Lagoon often requires walking on soft sand, weathered stone ramparts. Surfaces around the Kanniya Hot Springs and temple courtyards can be damp or slippery; we maintain a slow, photographerΓÇÖs pace to ensure you can frame your shots safely and without haste.
Climate Considerations:
The East Coast is significantly warmer than the South. Most of our high-activity photography is scheduled for the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat and capitalize on the best natural light.
Transportation:
We use a private vehicle for all major tours.
Skill Level:
Whether you are a hobbyist or a seasoned professional, we adapt instruction to your specific needs.
Group Size:
Maximum 4ΓÇô6 photographers
Private Rooms:
All our tour prices include single-occupancy rooms.
Safety & Investment Protection:
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. Your policy must include coverage for medical expenses, personal accident, and emergency repatriation, as well as protection for your gear and trip investment.
Dietary Requirements:
We work closely with our hospitality partners to accommodate dietary needs where possible. Please notify us of any specific requirements in advance.
Equipment:
While we recommend a DSLR or Mirrorless system, a full gear checklist is provided upon booking.
Visa Requirements:
Most travelers require an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) for Sri Lanka, which should be applied for online at the official portal before departure.
