What is included in the tour price?
The tour price covers 6 nights of private accommodation in 3-star properties with no single supplements. You receive Full Board meals (Sri Lankan and Western), expert photographic guidance, and private transport in an air-conditioned vehicle. All entrance fees for itinerary sites and local taxes are also included.
What is not covered by the tour fee?
Excluded costs include international airfare, visa fees (ETA), and personal expenses like laundry or souvenirs. You are also responsible for alcohol and specialty drinks, tips and gratuities, and any additional camera fees for professional video or drone equipment where applicable.
What is the physical difficulty level of this tour?
The difficulty is moderate. You should be comfortable walking 2ΓÇô3 kilometers on uneven terrain (such as the grass slopes in Riverston) and climbing stairs (Ambuluwawa). We always move at a “photographerΓÇÖs pace” with plenty of stops to ensure you get the perfect shot.
What are the accommodation and group size details?
To ensure a high-quality experience, we keep groups small with only 4ΓÇô6 photographers. Every participant is provided a private room as our standard, so you will not have to share accommodation or pay an extra fee for single occupancy.
What camera equipment and skill level do I need?
We welcome everyone from hobbyists to seasoned professionals, adapting our instruction to your needs. While we recommend a DSLR or Mirrorless system, a full gear checklist is provided upon booking to help you prepare.
Are there specific safety and visa requirements?
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory, covering medical, accidents, repatriation, and gear. Most travelers also require an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization), which must be obtained through the official online portal before arriving in Sri Lanka.
