Urban Trails

The day begins with the raw action and frenetic atmosphere of the Pettah markets, where trade in the capital city is at its most intense. From the Victorian industrialism of the central rail hub to the Kovils of Sea Street, the tour navigates through the city’s most evocative urban landscapes. As the harsh midday sun retreats, the focus shifts to the coastal strip for silhouettes and street life before culminating in a low-light study of the city’s vibrant food culture. This is an exploration of a city that never sleeps, and the tour is designed to challenge your technical range from high-speed street action to long-exposure nightscapes.
